Fall, 2008 Ray Bonnabeau is an Adjunct Professor Ray Bonnabeau is an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law teaching a class on "Intellectual Property Licensing." This course examines the process of licensing intellectual property rights. Subjects covered in detail include conception, valuation, ascertaining licensing partners, taxation of licenses, international aspects of licensing and others. This course has a heavy skills component. As such, students will negotiate, draft, and critique various clauses in a license agreement. The aim of the course is to identify a technology, identify a partner, determine value, and draft a complete one entire license agreement by the end of the term. |
